A beginner’s evening of high tea and hands-on tarot

Saturday, November 14, 2026 · 6:00 to 8:30 PM
Nonna’s Famous Pizza, Ottawa
$75 per person · Bring a friend: 2 tickets for $140 until October 31
Limited to 14 guests

Tarot isn’t about predicting your future. It’s a set of 78 pictures that help you notice what you already know. This evening is about learning to read them for yourself.

Over a catered spread from Nonna’s Famous Pizza, we’ll spend an intimate evening learning how the cards speak. You’ll learn how the deck is built, how to ask a question that gets a meaningful answer, and how to read a card through its imagery and your own intuition instead of a guidebook. Together we’ll meet the first cards of the Major Arcana through story and reflection. Then you’ll pull your own three-card spread and read it alongside a partner, with guidance whenever you want it.

The evening includes

  • Food by Nonna’s Famous Pizza
  • A tarot deck to use all evening (no need to bring or buy one)
  • Your own Tarot & Tea workbook to take home, with a seven-day practice to keep going
  • A guided first reading in pairs
  • A small group of 14

Who it’s for

Complete beginners, the curious, and anyone who owns a deck and has never quite known where to start. No experience needed.

Some exercises are done in pairs, so bring a friend, or come solo and we’ll pair you with someone lovely.

This is the first evening of the Tarot & Tea series. Each one stands on its own, and guests from this night will be the first to hear when the next one opens.

Hosted by Briaa of Ascending Priestess, with Nonna’s Famous Pizza.
