New Moon: I’m Not Calling In More — I’m Calling Myself Back

New Moon: I’m Not Calling In More — I’m Calling Myself Back

We aren’t writing a list of 47 goals while pretending we aren’t exhausted and in the depths of winter. We aren’t “acting as if” while our nervous systems are begging us to slow down.

This New Moon is for the version of us that’s been holding too much.

As we transition into the Lunar New Year, we need this time to finish shedding the old energies. We’ve been trying to stay magnetic and grounded while our brains are scattered — trying to keep our homes soft while internally calculating how to make everything work.

Tonight isn’t about manifesting a mansion. It’s about one question:

What would it look like to stop abandoning ourselves — even when things are hard?

Breaking the Survival Loop

If we’re being honest, we’ve been in a season where everything needs something from us. When life gets loud, our instinct is to move faster and control more until we feel “safe.”

But that version of safety is a trap. It doesn't bring peace; it brings pressure. And while we handle pressure well, it only makes us more disconnected.

The New Moon doesn’t ask us to do more. It asks us to tell the truth to the part of us that whispers:

You’re tired. You’re carrying too much.

Manifestation Without the Panic

We talk about manifestation like it’s always “high vibes” and journals. But sometimes, real manifestation looks like:

  • Admitting we’re not okay.

  • Choosing structure because we need support, not because we’re failing.

  • Leaning on our people (even when it's hard to ask).

  • Just stopping.

We don’t want to manifest from panic anymore. When you manifest from fear, you don’t feel grateful when it arrives — you just feel relieved. And relief isn’t the same thing as safety.

This New Moon, we are asking for stability, self-trust, and a nervous system that isn’t always bracing for impact. We want the abundance that doesn't require us to abandon ourselves to earn it.

You Aren’t Broken, You’re Overloaded

If your life feels chaotic, you don’t need a new personality. You need a new rhythm.

You don't need to “try harder” — you need a structure that supports you.

This New Moon is a return. A return to the part of us that doesn’t need to prove anything to be worthy of ease. A return to the part of us that knows rest is productive.

The New Moon doesn’t need us to be perfect; it needs us to be present.

What We Are Choosing Tonight

We are choosing to stop abandoning ourselves in small, real ways:

  • To eat before we crash.

  • To stop turning every thought into an emergency.

  • To stop confusing urgency with alignment.

  • To stop treating our bodies like an inconvenience.

We are choosing to rebuild from devotion.

The Real Ritual

Breathe: Put a hand on your chest and say, “I am safe to slow down.”

Be Honest: Ask, “Where am I abandoning myself?”
(Overworking? Avoiding finances? Saying yes when we mean no?)

Choose ONE: Pick one small shift.
Bed by 10:30. Eating lunch. 15 minutes of silence.

Set an Intention:
I choose peace over pressure. I choose stability over chaos.

The New Moon isn’t here to save us; it’s here to remind us that we can save ourselves by returning to who we are — again and again.

We are not machines. We are builders, healers, and creators, and we were never meant to carry it all alone.

Tonight, we aren’t calling in more.

We are calling ourselves back.

With love, warmth and respect,
Briaa 🤍✨
